2024 UAEA Scholarship Winners!

UAEA is proud to announce three winners of the 2024 Jacquelyn “Jackie” Awosika Scholarship. This annual scholarship is a chance for UAEA members or their children to win college scholarship funds based upon both an essay on union topics and their academic and extracurricular accomplishments. Each submission is evaluated blindly by three panelists and their scores dictate both how many applicants receive funds. This year’s winners are as follows:

Jude Odell, son of UAEA member Shandy Odell.

Maya Taylor, daughter of UAEA member Kelly Taylor (pictured with both her mother and Tempe mayor Corey Woods)

Maddy Makay, daughter of UAEA member Brady Makay.
